According to a press release by Fuzhou Rockchip Electronics, a China-based IC (Integrated Circuit) design house, the company forged a strategic alliance with Microsoft on August 15 at the Rockchip Microsoft Strategic Cooperation Conference. Under the alliance, the two companies will endeavor to develop the world's first SoC (System-on-Chip) solutions integrating Microsoft's PlayFX audio technologies. Rockchip also announced that it will apply the PlayFX technologies to its entire product lines.
